Now then, we’ve got more good announcement news today for you, starting with this: Paramount has just set a 10th Anniversary Collector’s Edition 4K + Blu-ray box set of Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar (2014) for release on 12/10! The package includes the film on both 4K UHD and Blu-ray, as well as a third Blu-ray Bonus Disc with more than two hours of special features, including legacy extras and the all-new The Future Is Now: A Look Back at Interstellar featurette that features Nolan, producers Emma Thomas and Kip Thorne, co-writer Jonathan Nolan, and fellow directors Peter Jackson and Denis Villeneuve. The package also includes “access to a Digital copy of the film, reproductions of five costume patches, five theatrical poster reproductions, and a never-before-seen storyboard sequence from the director’s archives.” Here’s what it looks like and you can pre-order it here on Amazon (or by clicking on the image below)...
Lionsgate has set Rupert Sanders’ The Crow (2024) for release on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD on 11/5. Exclusive 4K Steelbooks will also be available at Amazon and Walmart. Extras will include the 6-part True Love Never Dies: Making the Crow documentary, plus 3 additional featurettes (Dark Romance: The Score, Reborn Through Revenge: Main Title Sequence, and Every Film Is a Miracle: A Tribute to Edward R. Pressman), deleted scenes, and the film’s theatrical trailer.
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has set the Kendrick Brothers’ The Forge (2024) for Blu-ray and DVD on 12/3.
Todd Phillips’ Joker: Folie à Deux (2024) is now available for pre-order on Blu-ray, DVD, 4K Ultra HD, and 4K UHD Steelbook on Amazon. Street date is TBA. Pre-order links are below with the temp cover art.
Miloš Forman’s Amadeus (1984) is also available for 4K pre-order on Amazon UK (US links should appear soon as well).
Also now available for pre-order on Amazon is Fede Álvarez’s Alien: Romulus (2024)—we’ve included the cover art with pre-order links below.
For TV fans, Apple TV’s Severance: Season One is coming to Blu-ray on 12/17 from RLJ Entertainment.
And here’s a nice surprise: Alexander Payne’s Sideways (2004) is now available in 4K Digital from Disney and Searchlight Pictures. No word yet if a 4K disc release is coming as well.
