Finally today, here’s something exciting: Are any of you guys Battlestar Galactica fans? As in the re-launched Ron Moore series from a decade ago? And do all of you who are fans have a copy of the must-have Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series Blu-ray set from Universal? And were any of you (who DO have that set) upset (as was I) by the fact that the Face of the Enemy webisode series wasn’t included? And finally, are those of you who are upset willing to spend $35 or so to finally get the Face of the Enemy webisode series, albeit in upconverted 16x9 SD? Well... if you answered “yes” to all of those questions, I’ve got great news for you: Now you can. The series has just been released on Blu-ray in Japan in individual seasons sets... and the Fourth Season set DOES include the Face of the Enemy webisode series in upconverted 16x9 SD with the original English 2.0 audio and optional Japanese subs. I know this for a fact, as I’ve confirmed it myself. I have a copy in my hands and have watched it. As you may know, Japan is the same BD region as the US and all the extras have English audio and removable subs. Best of all, you can get the set in question here (via this link) on CD Japan for 50% off which is 3232 yen... that works out to about $27 USD. Add shipping and you’re looking at about $35 USD all in. Not bad. Click on the links provided or on the cover artwork below. The BD pictured at left (which is Season Four) is the one you want.
All right, here’s a look at more new Blu-ray cover artwork (with Amazon pre-order links if available)...
Stay tuned...
