Warner confirms Flintstones: Complete Series Blu-ray audio fix and replacement program

The Flinstones: The Complete Series (Blu-ray Disc)

Okay, we’ve just heard back from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on that audio issue with The Flintstones: The Complete Series on Blu-ray (see our review here, which notes the specific issue with the audio on Episode 17 found on Disc One). Warner has confirmed the issue, corrected it, and is now setting up a disc replacement program. They ask people to contact this email address to arrange a replacement disc:

Include in your email the following details:

  • Full Name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Mailing address where the replacement disc should be shipped

It sounds like the fixed discs are being produced now. [Read on here...]

We’ll let you know as they start shipping out. Note that the set streets in stores tomorrow and it does appear that all existing sets are impacted. No word yet on when corrected sets might reach stores.

Also today, Lionsgate has set Darren Lynn Bousman’s horror title Death of Me for release on Blu-ray and DVD on 11/17. Extras will include a featurette.

Lionsgate has also set Words on Bathroom Walls for release on Blu-ray, DVD, and On Demand on 11/17. Extras will include a gallery and the film’s trailer.

A couple other notes today: First, are any of you guys Star Wars fans and gamers? The PC version of EA’s new Star Wars: Squadrons game is currently on sale on Amazon.com for just $29.99 ($10 off the regular $39.99 SRP). Click here to take advantage of that.

One other thing: News posts here on the site may be limited for the next 24-36 hours. The reason is that we’ve got a pretty large fire burning not far away from The Bits’ home office here in SoCal. The situation seems stable thus far, but I woke up to dark orange skies and 40-50 mph winds, so things could change. I’ll post on our social media if need be.
