Now... keep in mind that the titles we’ve compiled here could be notable for any number of different reasons or combinations thereof. They might be long-awaited, landmark, or particularly unexpected titles. They might feature stunning video and/or audio quality. They might include surprisingly good or comprehensive special features at a time when such things have tended to fall by the wayside. Or they might just be particularly well-crafted and well-targeted to the most diehard fans of that film or TV series.
It’s also possible that we might have overlooked a title or two, and if that’s the case we apologize in advance. In going back to review all of the many movie disc releases this year, we were actually surprised at the number we’d almost forgotten about. There were some notable titles released very early in the year that feel like they came out a decade ago now, such has been the nature of 2020 for all of us.
But with all of that said, here are our picks for the twenty best Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD releases of 2020. These are presented in no particular order. Our intent is simply to provide each of you, our readers, with a list of titles that are worthy of your time, attention, and hard-earned dollars. We’ve reviewed most of these titles here at The Bits, so we’ve provided a link to our thoughts where available...

Now then, in the process of compiling this list, there were many other titles that we considered for inclusion—and even still we’ve probably missed a few. We haven’t reviewed as many of these here at The Bits, but a review link has again been included where available...
