Speaking of Stranger Things, Netflix has just made Season 2 of the series available for streaming today. So I suspect that many of you will be spending some of your Halloween weekend thus occupied. Enjoy! [Read on here…]

The combined features will include the 10-part Impressions: A Journey Behind-the-Scenes of Twin Peaks (includes The Man with the Grey Elevated Hair, Tell it Martin, Two Blue Balls, The Number of Completion, Bad Binoculars, See You on the Other Side Dear Friend, Do Not Pick Up Hitchhikers, A Bloody Finger in Your Mouth, The Polish Accountant, and A Pot of Boiling Oil), 4 Phenomenon features (including Part 1: Creation, Part 2: Life After Death, Part 3: Renaissance, and Behind-the-scenes: Photo Gallery), Rancho Rosa Logos, the San Diego Comic-Con 2017 Twin Peaks Panel, and 7 David Lynch Produced Promos (Piano, Donut, Woods, People, Places, Albert, and In-cinema). To this, the Blu-ray will exclusively add A Very Lovely Dream: One Week in Twin Peaks, Behind the Red Curtain, and I Had Bad Milk in Dehradun. You’ll also have the option to view Parts 1-4 individually or as feature-length presentations via seamless branching. You can see the cover artwork above left and also below.

Also today, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has set Brigsby Bear for Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD release on 11/14. Extras will include audio commentary with Kyle Mooney & Dave McCary and 4 featurettes (Twin Speak: Kyle & Dave, Gag Reel, An Evening with Brigsby Bear Cast Q&A, and The Wisdom of Brigsby Bear). To this, the Blu-ray and Digital release will add Deleted & Extended Scenes and Brigsby Bear: The Lost Episode.

And for UK readers, Eureka! has announced that they’ll be releasing Billy Wilder’s The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes  on Blu-ray on 1/22/18.

Finally today, we’d like to take a moment to acknowledge the passing of actor Robert Guillaume. You may know him from TV’s Soap, Benson, and Sports Night, and younger audiences will know his as the voice of Rafiki in Disney’s animated The Lion King. If you haven’t get seen Sports Night, in particular, I highly recommend it. You can read more about Guillaume here at NPR. He was 89.

We’ll leave you with a look at the Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K cover artwork for Twin Peaks, Dunkirk, and more. Click on the cover images to pre-order all of these titles now on Amazon.com (and we appreciate you doing so through our links)...
