Two more BD reviews, plus some announcement odds & ends to close out the week

We have two more Blu-ray reviews for you this. The first is Dr. Jahnke’s Hell Plaza Oktoberfest review of Scream Factory’s Dolls: Collector’s Edition. And the other is Tim’s take on Hannibal: Season Two from Lionsgate.   [Read on here…]

In far-off announcement news today, Scream Factory has revealed that they’re planning to release the 1988 prison/slasher film Destroyer on Blu-ray next Summer.

On that same note, Universal has announced that it’s now shooting Tremors 5 and plans to release it on Blu-ray and DVD in 2016. So even farther off. Jamie Kennedy and Michael Gross star. You’re all on pins and needles I’m sure.

In more immediate release news, Film Movement has set the historical epic Lines of Wellington for DVD release on 11/25.

Mill Creek will release Emancipation Road and Heartbreak Hotel on Blu-ray on 1/6.

Virgil Films has set Legends of the Knight for DVD and digital release on 11/18.

XLrator Media will release Gerard Johnstone’s horror film Housebound on Blu-ray and DVD on 11/18.

And yeah, that’s really about it. SLOOOOOOWWWWWWW news day. Anyway, here’s a bit of new cover artwork…
