Now then, some release news... Music Box Films Home Entertainment has set Leonor Will Never Die for Digital only release on 12/27. Also coming that same day is Sylvio on Blu-ray.
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has just set Gaz Alazraki’s Father of the Bride (2022) for DVD only release on 12/27.
And Well Go USA Entertainment will release Project Wolf Hunting on Blu-ray and Digital on 2/14.
Meanwhile, we’re still awaiting cover artwork for Paramount’s Dragonslayer in Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD, but we do have a look at the 4K Steelbook packaging and it’s pretty gorgeous looking. Here’s that...
And finally today, here’s a title I’m personally thrilled to see arrive on 4K Ultra HD, but that’s taken me completely by surprise: Curzon Film in the UK has just dropped (on December 12) a new 4K UHD Steelbook edition of Wim Wenders’ Wings of Desire (1987)! And the packaging is gorgeous. Here’s a look at that...
This is a brand new restoration overseen by Wenders, which includes a new In Conversation with Wim Wenders at the BFI featurette, along with deleted scenes, the previous commentary with Wenders and Peter Falk, and more legacy extras. Click here or on the artwork above to order the title from Amazon.co.uk. We’ve also added it to our 4K Ultra HD Release List here at The Bits accordingly.
How that one slipped by us, I can’t imagine. But what a great Christmas surprise! Wings of Desire is one of my all-time favorite films, so I can’t wait to get my hands on it. (And rest assured, we will be reviewing the title here at The Bits when it arrives.)
That’s all for now. Stay tuned!
