In announcement news, Kino Lorber has revealed that it’s working on a new Blu-ray release of Delmer Daves’ Broken Arrow (1950). Street date is TBA.
Arrow Video USA is releasing its Psychomania: Special Edition on Blu-ray/DVD Combo on 2/21 (SRP $29.95).
FUNimation has confirmed the Blu-ray and DVD release of Speed Racer, Your Name, and Shin Godzilla, all TBA for next year.
And Gravitas Ventures has set Bakery in Brooklyn for Blu-ray and DVD release on 3/21.
In other news today, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story tickets are now on sale at theaters around the country. Act fast if you wish to make your way into those early Thursday (12/15) showings!
We’ve learned that Oppo is hoping to have its UDP-203 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player available as early as next month (though the release date is still tentative, as they want to make sure it’s ready) and certainly by Q1 2017. Rest assured, we WILL have a full in-depth review of this player as soon as it’s available, as we know that a LOT of you are waiting for the Oppo to finally make your dive into 4K.
