All right, there’s not much release news today, but our own Tim Salmons has delivered his penultimate Blu-ray review of Halloween Hangover, and it’s a look at Arrow Video’s Region B release of The ’Burbs! Do check that out. He’s got another review coming tomorrow for Halloween itself, and he’ll have a few more leftovers for you next week. So be sure to check back for it.  [Read on here…]

Meanwhile, the only announcement news to speak of today is that Sony Pictures has set Open Season: Scared Silly for Blu-ray, DVD, and digital release on 3/8/2016.

Lionsgate Home Entertainment is releasing Shaun: The Sheep – Season One on DVD on 11/24 (SRP $14.98). It will also be available digitally in HD and SD.

Disney and Pixar are releasing Toy Story That Time Forgot on Blu-ray and digital on 11/3.

And Netflix has just set their Marco Polo: Season One for Blu-ray and DVD release on 12/15 via Anchor Bay and The Weinstein Company. Extras will include The Marco Polo Documentary, deleted scenes, a gag reel, 5 featurettes (The Martial Arts of Marco Polo, Fight Scene Rehearsals, The Visual Effects of Marco Polo, Making the Opening Titles, and Concept Art-to-Scene Comparison), as well as two galleries (Concept Art and Costume Art). One would expect Netflix to announce Daredevil: Season One for release on Blu-ray and DVD too in the weeks ahead, so stay tuned.

Finally today, if you live in the Los Angeles area and you happen to be attending Stan Lee’s Comikaze convention this weekend, I’ll be on a panel on Sunday morning (11:30 AM, Room 515B) to talk about my work on the upcoming Star Trek: Axanar feature film. Maybe I’ll see you there! Visit the official web page for all the details.

That’s all for now. Catch you back here tomorrow morning. Happy Halloween Eve!
