Also today, Bits reader Jody F. has reminded us that Mondo (of Alamo Drafthouse fame) is working with Target to release a set of Target-exclusive Blu-ray Steelbook packages featuring Mono artwork. The discs are the same as those previously released, but the Steelbooks are gorgeous. The two most recent releases include Shawn of the Dead and Flash Gordon. Click here and here for details. (Thanks, Jody!)
Also today, a number of you have asked what's up with the anticipated U.S. Blu-ray release of What We Do in the Shadows, which was supposed to happen on 5/19 according to my contacts associated with the film. Well, obviously that date came and went and the title is still MIA. My guess is that the title is still coming, just delayed. We've asked for official clarification and will let you know as soon as we hear anything back.
Here's a look at more newly released Blu-ray Disc cover artwork, with Amazon.com pre-order links if available...
Stay tuned...
