Now then... we’ve also learned that the 4K artwork we shared for Jaws last week is officially not the final cover artwork, per Universal. Which is good, because we know that lots of you hated it. Rest assured, it’s not final. We expect to have the final cover—and all the confirmed details—when Jaws is officially announced for 4K in a few weeks.

FYI, there’s Back to the Future 4K cover art floating around online now too, but that’s also not final artwork per the studio.

However, The Blues Brothers IS official and so too is the Spartacus 4K cover art we’ve shared before, so here they are again...

Meanwhile (as you can see above), we’ve learned that Shout! Factory and Scream Factory’s June Blu-ray slate will officially include Glengarry Glen Ross: Shout Select on 6/2, Thomas and the Magic Railroad, Princess Caraboo: Shout Select and Thir13en Ghosts on 6/9, The Missing: Shout Select and The Hills Run Red (directed by Dave Parker and produced by our friend Robert Meyer Burnett) on 6/16, The Road to Wellville: Shout Select and The Spider (1958) on 6/23, and Tales from the Darkside: The Movie and Orca on 6/30. And we’ve been informed that the street date for Film Movement’s Their Finest Hours: 5 British WWII Classics Blu-ray set is moving from 3/17 to 3/31 due to a manufacturing delay. So adjust your plans accordingly.

Finally today, we need to take a moment to acknowledge the passing of the great French-Swedish actor Max von Sydow, star of so many great films including Ingmar Bergman’s The Seventh Seal (pictured below), William Friedkin’s The Exorcist, Martin Scorsese’s Shutter Island, Pelle the Conqueror, Flash Gordon, The Greatest Story Ever Told (1965), Steven Spielberg’s Minority Report, and so many more. He passed on Sunday at the age of 90. And he will dearly be missed. You can read more here at The New York Times.
