Warner Bros. has set Adult Swim’s animated Rick and Morty: The Complete Seventh Season for Blu-ray and DVD release on 3/12, and they’ve also set the Netflix original title Wednesday: The Complete First Season for Blu-ray and DVD release on 3/26.
While we’re on the topic of animation, NCircle Entertainment will release Sonic Prime: Season 1 on Blu-ray on 3/12.
And finally, Kino Lorber Studio Classics has revealed a couple more catalog Blu-ray titles as coming soon, including Claude Autant-Lara’s Enough Rope (1963) and the Republic Pictures Horror Collection, which will include George Sherman’s Lady and the Monster (1944), John English’s The Phantom Speaks (1945), Lesley Selander’s The Catman of Paris (1946), and Philip Ford’s Valley of the Zombies (1946).
Also today, I’ve posted another interesting blog entry on our new Patreon page regarding potential 4K Ultra HD catalog titles from a much-talked about studio. You’ll find that here. As always, please consider joining as a supporter there to help us in our effort to keep up the good fight for physical media on The Digital Bits. (We appreciate it!)
And finally, a quick favor for an old friend: You might recall a few years ago that we promoted a Kickstarter for a board game called Hellenica: Story of Greece. Its designer, Scott DeMers, who just so happens to be a childhood friend of mine, has just completed another successful game Kickstarter for a project called Dragons Down, which is described as “an adventure game inspired by the classic game Magic Realm for 1-6 players.” His partner in this project is once again Mr. B. Games, which has just opened the Kickstarter for late pledges. So if you think it’s something you might be interested in, please give it a look here at this link.
All right, we’ll leave you today with a look at the cover artwork for a bunch of 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray titles that are newly listed for pre-order on Amazon (just click on the images to pre-order them)...
