The long-awaited Scream 2 on 4K Ultra HD and 4K UHD Steelbook Limited Edition on 10/4 (click on the title links to visit the respective Amazon pre-order pages).

A Blu-ray Steelbook release of Steven Spielberg’s Catch Me If You Can (2002) on 10/4.

New Blu-ray and DVD box sets containing both Dexter: The Complete Series + Dexter: New Blood on 10/4 (SRP $104.99 and $69.99).

4K Ultra HD and 4K Ultra HD Steelbook Limited Edition single-film SKUs of all three Godfather Trilogy films—The Godfather, The Godfather Part II, and Mario Puzo’s The Godfather, Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone on 10/14 (SRP $30.99 for the Steelbooks and $25.99 for the UHD singles).

And a Paranormal Activity: The Ultimate Chills Collection on Blu-ray on 10/11 (SRP $67.99), which features all 7 films in the series including Blu-rays of Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin and the Unknown Dimension: The Story of Paranormal Activity documentary that are exclusive to this box set.

Not to be outdone, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has just set Johnny Mnemonic: In Black and White for Blu-ray release on 8/16.

Sony has also set the Jazz Fest: A New Orleans Story documentary for Blu-ray and DVD release on 8/9, with the Digital release expected on 7/26.

Also today, Kino Lorber Studio Classics has announced that they’re working on a new 4K Ultra HD release of Robert Benton’s Nobody’s Fool (1994), starring Paul Newman, Bruce Willis, Melanie Griffith, and Jessica Tandy.

The company has announced more great catalog titles for Blu-ray as well, including Giuseppe Colizzi’s spaghetti western Ace High (1968) on 9/20, Michael Lehmann’s action comedy Hudson Hawk (1991) on 9/27, and Buzz Kulik’s Warning Shot (1967) which is listed as “coming soon.”

In other release news, Bayview Entertainment has set The Enormity of Life for Blu-ray on 8/9 (delayed from 7/26).

The Cohen Media Group will release Christos Nikou’s Apples (2020) on Blu-ray and DVD on 8/2, followed by Jean Chapot’s The Burned Barns (1973) on both formats on 8/23, and Jacques Deray’s Symphony for a Massacre (1963) on both formats on 8/30.

Lionsgate will release the Pam & Tommy Hulu miniseries on DVD only on 8/9.

And The Film Detective has set Antonio Margheriti’s classic B-grade Italian sci-fi film Battle of the Worlds (1961) for release on Blu-ray and DVD on 8/9. Extras will include an “original essay by author Don Stradley, a full-length commentary track by film historian Justin Humphreys, the all-new original production A Cinematic Outsider: The Fantastical Worlds of Antonio Margheriti by Ballyhoo Motion Pictures, and an insert with a special surprise for fans.”

Also newly available for pre-order on Amazon.com is Paramount’s Crawl (2019) on 9/20 and Blue Underground’s Quiet Days in Clichy (1970) on 10/25, both in 4K UHD
