Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has set Tremors 5: Bloodlines for Blu-ray and DVD release on 10/6, complete with deleted and extended scenes, outtakes and the Tremors 5: Behind the Bloodlines featurette.  [Read on here…]

Magnolia Home Entertainment has set Results for release on Blu-ray and DVD on 9/22, starring Guy Pearce.

Paramount has set Witness and Escape from Alcatraz for release on Blu-ray on 10/13, though for some reason they aren’t available for pre-order on Amazon. They are, however, available for pre-order on Best We don’t believe these are retail-exclusive titles, but that’s possible.

Olive Films September slate includes the following titles King of the Hill: Season 12 (DVD), The Mighty Quinn (BD), The Woods (BD), Mannequin (BD), Mannequin on the Move (BD), Antitrust (BD), Black Caesar (DVD/BD), Hitler: The Last Ten Days (DVD/BD), Mad Dog Time (DVD/BD), Slaughter (DVD/BD), Some Kind of Hero (DVD/BD), Blumenthal (DVD/BD), Deuces Wild (BD), The Mod Squad (BD), Dirty Work (BD), S.F.W. (BD), Fatal Instinct (BD), For Us The Living: The Medgar Evers Story (DVD/BD), Invisible Monster (DVD/BD), Madhouse (DVD/BD), Prick Up Your Ears (DVD/BD), Boarding House (DVD), Cemetery Sisters (DVD), Cinco De Mayo (DVD/BD), Death Nurse 1 (DVD), Death Nurse 2 (DVD), Killer Workout (DVD/BD), Shock ’Em Dead (DVD/BD), Splatter: Architects of Fear (DVD), Trashology (DVD/BD), Deadly Prey (DVD/BD), and Deadliest Prey (DVD/BD).

Lionsgate has set Little House on the Prairie: The Complete Series Deluxe Remastered Edition box set for DVD release on 10/6.

I wish I could say there was a Blu-ray announcement attached to this, but HBO is making the complete Get Smart TV series available digitally on 8/10, in time to mark the show’s 50th anniversary. Individual episodes are $1.99 and complete seasons are $19.99 and it appears that the episodes are SD only. I’d love to have this on Blu-ray, wouldn’t you?

Also today, it looks as if Barnes & Noble’s 50% off Criterion sale is continuing unexpectedly on some titles. Click here for that and thanks to everyone who e-mailed us about it.
