Warner announces Justice League & Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay, plus Kino reveals Fistful of Dynamite

All right, we’ve got a bunch of server work going on here at The Bits today, but we do have a few big title announcements that we wanted to make sure we updated you on...

First up, Warner Bros Home Entertainment has just officially set DC’s Justice League for release on Blu-ray Combo, Blu-ray 3D Combo, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD Combo on 3/13 (SRP $35.99, $44.95, $44.95, and $28.98, respectively), with the Digital release expected on 2/13. Extras on the Blu-ray versions will include 11 behind-the-scenes featurettes (including Road to Justice, Heart of Justice, Technology of the Justice League, Justice League: The New Heroes, The Return of Superman, Steppenwolf the Conqueror, Scene Studies: Revisiting the Amazons, Scene Studies: Wonder Woman’s Rescue, Scene Studies: Heroes Park, Scene Studies: The Tunnel Battle, and Suit Up: The Look of the League). [Note: A Walmart-exclusive retail version will have one deleted scene.] All of the Blu-ray versions will feature Dolby Atmos audio. Next up, Warner has announced the animated Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay for release on Blu-ray Combo, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD Combo on 4/10. Look for the Digital release on 3/27. Extras will include audio commentary (by screenwriter/co-producer Alan Burnett and executive producer James Tucker), 3 featurettes (Outback Rogue: Captain Boomerang, Nice Shot, Floyd! The Greatest Marksman in the DCU, and The Power of Plot Devices, MacGuffins and Red Herrings), and a sneak peak at the next DCU animated feature, The Death of Superman. You can see the cover art for this below as well.

Also today, Kino Lorber has just announced that they’re going to be releasing the Sergio Leone spaghetti western Fistful of Dynamite (1971), aka Duck You Sucker, on Blu-ray and DVD on 3/6 as part of their Studio Classics line. Extras will include optional English subtitles, audio commentary by filmmaker Alex Cox, audio commentary by film historian Sir Christopher Frayling, 6 featurettes (The Myth of the Revolution, Sergio Donati Remembers, Once Upon a Time in Italy (The Autry Exhibition), Sorting Out the Versions, Restoration Italian Style, and Location Comparisons), Trailers from Hell with Brian Trenchard-Smith, 2 animated image galleries, 5 radio spots, trailers for all 5 Sergio Leone westerns, and audio in both 5.1 and 2.0. Again, you can see the cover artwork below.

And Lionsgate Home Entertainment has just set Into the Badlands: The Complete Second Season for release on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital on 3/13. Extras will include deleted scenes.
