Jeff Kleist
Jeff Kleist joined The Digital Bits in 2001 and quickly became an invaluable all-purpose Contributor. While his regular column The 3rd Dimension focuses on Blu-ray 3D, Jeff reviews regular Blu-ray and DVD titles as well and he often spends his time ferreting out news from the depths of the home video industry.
In addition to his work on The Bits, Jeff contributes to the Tell family of publications and is a consultant on various DVD and Blu-ray projects, most recently the BluScenes series. In 2010, Jeff worked as a music supervisor and co-producer for the Production IG animated short Shackles of Night. He also servers as the Musical Guest Liaison for the annual Otakon anime convention in Baltimore. When not concentrating on home video matters, Jeff almost single-handedly pioneers the introduction of major Asian (specifically Japanese and Korean) Pop and Rock music stars to American audiences. He's also worked with musical artists of all stripes, including idol singers, hip-hop, boy bands and R&B, as well as ethnic acts and string and orchestral groups.
Jeff lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
