Breakout (1975) on Blu-ray from Powerhouse/Indicator (also by Tim)

Road to Morocco (1942) on Blu-ray from Kino Lorber Studio Classics (by Dennis)

The Kid Brother (1927) on Blu-ray from Criterion (also by Dennis)

Whew! Also, I’m currently working on a 4K review of James Wan’s Aquaman in 4K from Warner Bros. so watch for that soon (later today or tomorrow).

We also have word that Hayao Miyazaki’s Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro is coming to 4K Ultra HD in Japan on July 24 (see this link on Twitter). The disc will be all-region obviously, but we don’t know if it will have English subs. It does, however, leave open the possibility of more Miyazaki animation being released on the format, as well as the possibility that a US distributor might pick up the 4K rights.

Also today, any Deadwood fans out there? HBO just dropped the full teaser trailer for Deadwood: The Movie coming on 5/31. You can enjoy that here…

Back with today’s Retro Release Day title in a little while. Stay tuned…
