Disney’s Pete’s Dragon on 11/29, plus Bridget Jones’s Baby, Dead Ringers, Rabid & Criterion’s Jan slate w/His Girl Friday
We’ve got a bunch of interesting announcement news for you today, to close out the week, but first we have another new Blu-ray review: Tim has posted his Pick-Ups thoughts on Joe Giannones’ 1982 slasher Madman, now available on Blu-ray from Vinegar Syndrome. Do give it a look.

We start with Disney, which has just set the live action Pete’s Dragon for release on Blu-ray, DVD, Digital HD, and Disney Movies Anywhere on 11/29. There’s no Blu-ray 3D version announced, which probably means that one will be released next year (following the pattern with Disney’s recent The Jungle Book and Star Wars: The Force Awakens).
