Meanwhile today, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced that the street date for their Blu-ray release of The Flintstones: The Complete Series has been delayed to 10/27 (from the originally announced date of 10/6).

Warner has also delayed the release of the Bugs Bunny: 80th Anniversary Collection on Blu-ray from the original 11/3 street date to 12/1. We believe this is simply a matter of disc replication and distribution having been impacted by COVID. Adjust your plans accordingly.

In other news, Sony has set a new 4K Steelbook edition Luc Besson’s Léon: The Professional for release on 12/1. You can see that below (and pre-order it on Amazon by clicking on the cover)…

Back to Lionsgate for a second: Look for the studio to release André Øvredal’s Mortal on Blu-ray and DVD on 11/10, with the Digital release expected on 11/6.

And Kino Lorber Studio Classics has just set D.C. Cab (1983), starring Mr. T, for Blu-ray release on 12/1. Also coming that day are Robert Aldrich’s Attack (1956) and Apache (1954). Following on 12/15 are Michael Steinberg’s Bodies, Rest & Motion (1993), Frank and Eleanor Perry’s Ladybug Ladybug (1964) and Diary of a Mad Housewife (1970), and Victor Stoloff’s The 300 Year Weekend (1971). The studio is also working on new Blu-ray releases of Jon Avnet’s The War (1994) and Bernard L. Kowalski’s Macho Callahan (1970). Street date for those is TBA.

Finally today, Arrow Video is expected to announce their December Blu-ray (and possibly 4K) catalog releases on Friday morning (at about 7AM Pacific). It should be interesting.
