Cover art for Wonder Years & Halloween Complete revealed, plus The Unknown Known & more!

by

Our own Dr. Adam Jahnke has turned in a new installment of his An Honor to Be Nominated looking back at Erin Brockovich. You’ll find that in today’s Jahnke’s Electric Theatre update, so don’t miss it!

Now then, here’s a few more new title announcements to close out the week...

The first bit of big news today is that StarVista Entertainment and Time Life have officially announced The Wonder Years: The Complete Series on DVD. The 26-disc set will come packaged in a replica of a high school locker and will include a specially-designed yearbook, magnets, cast and crew liner notes and more. You can see what the package looks like at the left there. More details on the extras and the street date will be revealed over the coming weeks at WonderYearsDVDs.com. Here’s what the package looks like... [Read on here...]

The OTHER bit of big news is that Anchor Bay and Scream Factory have revealed the cover artwork for the  9/23 Blu-ray release of the Halloween: Complete Collection 15-disc Deluxe Edition and 10-disc regular edition box sets. You can see that here...

Halloween: The Complete Collection (Blu-ray Disc)

Again, all the details on extras will be announced by Anchor Bay and Scream in the coming weeks. My guess is that we’ll learn a lot more about both titles (and possibly Batman: The Complete Series too) and Comic-Con next month.

Meanwhile, Lionsgate Home Entertainment will release the thriller Locke, starring Tom Hardy, on Blu-ray and DVD on 8/12. Extras will include writer/director audio commentary and a “making of” featurette.

Sony has set Anchor Bay, RADiUS TWC have set the Errol Morris documentary The Unknown Known for Blu-ray and DVD release on 7/1.

And Millennium Entertainment has set Rob the Mob for Blu-ray and DVD release on 6/24.

That’s all for now. Have a great weekend!
