Twilight Time's 5-day / $10 off sale is on, plus BD reviews & announcement news

We’ve got a couple more Blu-ray reviews for you today from Tim, once again both Scream Factory titles: Wes Craven’s cult classic Swamp Thing and Kevin Tenney’s Night of the Demons. Both are worth a look for fans of horror and are now available.

Speaking of Twilight, their newly-released (3/11) BD slate includes All the King’s Men (1949 – includes isolated score track), Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia (1974 – includes isolated score track, a pair of audio commentary tracks with the writer producer and various film historians, 3 featurettes (Passion & Poetry: Sam’s Favorite Film, A Writer’s Journey: Garner Simmons with Sam Peckinpah in Mexico, and Promoting Alfredo Garcia), 6 TV spots, and the film’s trailer), Conrack (1974 – with an isolated score & effects track, film historian audio commentary and the trailer), Equus (1977 – with an isolated score track, film historian audio commentary, the feature-length In from the Cold: The World of Richard Burton documentary, and the trailer), and Fever Pitch (1997 – with isolated score track and film historian audio commentary). Following on 4/8 are Broadway Danny Rose (1984 – with isolated score track, Movietone News, and a trailer), Rita, Sue and Bob Too (1987 – with isolated score track and film historian audio commentary), Used Cars (1980 – with two isolated score tracks (the film’s final score and an unused score), audio commentary with director Robert Zemeckis, writer Bob Gale, and actor Kurt Russell, a gag reel and outtakes, a radio interview, a radio spot, and more), and Wild at Heart (1990 – with an isolated music & effects track, 5 featurettes (Love, Death, Elvis & Oz: The Making of Wild at Heart, the Original 1990 Making-of EPK, Dell’s Lunch Counter extended interviews, Specific Spontaneity: Focus on David Lynch, and David Lynch on the DVD), 4 TV spots, and the trailer). In release news today, Film Movement has set In the Name Of for DVD only release on 4/15.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release Squatters on DVD and digital on 5/13.

Shout! Factory and Hasbro Studios will release Transformers Energon: The Complete Series on DVD on 5/6 as a 7-disc set with all 51 episodes.

Meanwhile, Scream Factory will release The Monkey’s Paw on Blu-ray and DVD on 6/17.

Anchor Bay will release House of Dust on DVD on 5/20.

CBS Home Entertainment will release Dynasty: The Eighth Season – Volumes One and Two on DVD on 4/29.

Image Entertainment has announced the Blu-ray release of Holliston: The Complete Second Season on 4/8.

Cinedigm will release the Hallmark title The Good Witch’s Garden on DVD on 4/22.

XLrator Media has set Christopher MacBride’s The Conspiracy for DVD release on 3/25.
