We’re starting today with a new Blu-ray review from Jim Hemphill... it’s David Gordon Green’s Manglehorn, available on disc from IFC Films. Enjoy!

We’ve got one more Amazon deal for you today: They’re selling the Amazon-exclusive The Ultimate James Bond Collection Blu-ray set for just $119.99 (60% off). This is the set that includes a space for the SPECTRE when it comes out in a couple months (in February we hear).  [Read on here…]

In announcement news, so here’s a surprise... Warehouse 13: The Complete Series is coming to Blu-ray here in the States on 2/23 (SRP $199.98). It’s shipping from Amazon. This appears to be the same set that’s coming out internationally, with DTS 5.1 audio in English, German, and Italian. But here’s the key: It’s an All-Region release. So there’s good news. I’ve included the cover artwork and pre-order link below.

Paramount is releasing a Star Trek: The Next Generation Motion Picture Collection on Blu-ray on 2/9 (SRP $35.98) but this appears to be a simple re-issue of the previous discs. This does NOT appear to be tied to the Trek anniversary, so my guess is that it’s simply clearing the decks of existing stock. I suspect there will be more Trek-themed BD releases later in 2016.

Disney has just revealed a new Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs: The Walt Disney Signature Collection Blu-ray/DVD Combo for release on 2/2 on $36.99. The Blu-ray will include audio commentary by Disney, assembled from archival recordings no doubt. There will be additional new bonus content as well, including a never-before-seen alternate sequence showing the Prince meeting Snow White. Going forward, this new Signature Collection will feature a limited selection of titles that were directly inspired or created by Disney himself. This will also mark the first time the film has been available in a digital streaming format.

Sony has set The Diary of a Teenage Girl for release on Blu-ray on 1/19 (SRP $34.99).

Music Box Films will release Maison Close: Season Two on Blu-ray and DVD on 1/12.

And Anchor Bay will release Shanghai on Blu-ray and DVD on 1/5.

Here’s a little cover artwork for a couple of the titles mentioned above...

Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs: Signature Collection (Blu-ray Disc)    Warehouse 13: The Complete Series (Blu-ray Disc)    Falling Skies: The Complete Fifth Season (Blu-ray Disc)

Back tomorrow with more. Stay tuned...
