Meanwhile today, Shout! Factory has set Bad Influence for Blu-ray release on 5/24, including the Under the Influence of David Keopp featurette and the film’s theatrical trailer.
Shout! Factory has also just set a DVD re-issue of Mystery Science Theater 3000: Volume Two for release on 5/24, and they’ve added a couple more of their forthcoming 4K Ultra HD titles for pre-order on Amazon on 7/12, including IMAX: Flight of the Butterflies and IMAX: Rocky Mountain Express. We have some good news for deep catalog fans today as well, as you can see above: Vinegar Syndrome has set a Blu-ray/DVD Combo version of the restored 1975 “Blaxploitation” cult classic Dolemite for release on 4/26.
Also today, we posted the Amazon.com pre-order link to the Star Trek: The Next Generation – The Complete Series BD set yesterday, but they’ve just added additional pre-order links for CBS’ Star Trek: The Complete Original Series Blu-ray, as well as Paramount’s Star Trek (2009) and Star Trek Into Darkness on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray (see below – note that the film links indicate BD at the moment, but the SRP and street date match the 4K SKUs, so I’m betting they’ll be updated soon)...
Moving on, Lionsgate has just announced the Blu-ray, DVD, and digital HD release of Standoff for 4/12, followed by Backtrack on all three formats on 4/16.
Magnolia Home Entertainment has set Gridlocked for Blu-ray and DVD on 6/14.
And finally, Anchor Bay, The Weinstein Company, and the BBC have set the War & Peace miniseries for Blu-ray and DVD release on 5/10, starring Paul Dano, Lily James, James Norton, and Gillian Anderson.
