But that’s not all: Paramount is also releasing Spielberg’s Catch Me If You Can (2002) on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray and 4K + Blu-ray Steelbook that same day! Again, look for it to include Dolby Vision HDR and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, plus all of the legacy special features on a Blu-ray that will also include the film. Also, Paramount will release wide 4K single-film SKUs of Airplane! (1980) and Top Secret! (1984) which were previously available only in their ZAZ Collection.
Meanwhile, Universal has just officially announced the Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD release of Simon Curtis’ Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale (2025) on 11/11, with the Digital release due on 9/30. A Downton Abbey: The Ultimate Legacy Collection Blu-ray box set will also be available that same day that includes the complete series and all of the films. Extras on The Grand Finale will include audio commentary with the director and actress Elizabeth McGovern, and multiple behind-the-scenes featurettes.
Not done yet: Shout! Factory has just begun to unveil its December slate of Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD titles, which will officially include John Woo’s The Killer (1989) in 4K Ultra HD on 12/2, the Shaw Brothers Classics: Volume 8 Blu-ray box set—including Return of the Sentimental Swordsman (1981), Perils of the Sentimental Swordsman (1982), The Duel of the Century (1981), The Emperor and His Brother (1981), Ambitious Kung Fu Girl (1981), The Treasure Hunters (1981), Cat vs. Rat (1982), Ghosts Galore (1983), The Enchantress (1984), New Tales of the Flying Fox (1984), Return of the Bastard Swordsman (1984), and Secret Service of the Imperial Court (1984)—on 12/2, David Cronenberg’s Rabid (1977) in 4K Ultra HD on 12/16, Mike Figgis’ Leaving Las Vegas (1995) in 4K Ultra HD on 12/16, the Hong Kong New Wave Essentials Blu-ray box set—including Painted Faces (1988), The Story of My Son (1990), and Women (1985)—on 12/16, the Wachowskis’ Cloud Atlas (2012) in 4K Ultra HD on 12/23,
A couple of additional details…
The Killer will offer new two new commentaries, including one with the director and journalist Drew Tayler, and another with critic David West. It will also include the new feature-length documentary The Hero of Heroic Bloodshed, plus new featurettes and legacy extras, in addition to Dolby Vision HDR and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.
Cloud Atlas will also include a new feature-length documentary called What Is an Ocean… Reconnecting the Cast and Crew of Cloud Atlas, plus Dolby Vision HDR and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.
Also coming from Shout! Factory in December are new 4K UHD Steelbook editions of previously-released titles, including Wanted (2008) on 12/2, Black Christmas (1974), Riddick (2013), and The Grey (2011) on 12/9, and Tales from the Darkside: The Movie (1990) on 12/23.

Finally, for you classic TV fans today, StudioCanal has just announced The New Avengers: Series 1 & 2 (1976-77) for Blu-ray, DVD and 4K Ultra HD release on 11/10! Each will be a 10-disc set that includes a 64-page booklet, a 32-page comic book, and extensive new and legacy special features.
